Old Town Fun

Heather and Jackson, and me and Abbie went to Old Town today so Heather and I could experiment with out cameras. We both have the same one, so it was fun to talk about it and how obsessed we both are. I personally think she looks like a freaking MODEL in the picture I took. It looks like I had a fan on her to make her hair look windblown. Nope! Just the wind! Jackson's eyes looked BEAUTIFUL in the sun. Then there's Abbie's TEETH!! They are HUGE! = ) She was hammin' it up with her friend. Love the mommy and me days!! Thanks for being such a great friend Heather!

More Catchlights!

Here are two more pictures that Kirsten in Old Town took. They make her eyes look AMAZING!!! Although, as I look at these pictures, she just looks like a little GIRL, not a baby = ( She's getting so pretty! She'll be 14 months in 2 weeks...crazy.

WOW, I met an awesome photographer today. She not only did an incredible photo shoot, but taught me all about "catchlights" and how to get kids (and all) eyes to sparkle. I got free tips from a professional, it was so fun! Check out this sneak peek. Notice the catchlights in Abbie's eyes. Wow.

Valentine's Day

Okay, I know it's not v-day yet, but we did a little pre holiday photo shoot, because she was just hamming it up this morning. I got a new flash for my camera too, so I had to try it out. That, AND, the scrapbook page that I'm making for Valentine's day is pink and brown. Yes, I plan her outfits around my scrapbook pages. I'm going to copy Heather's CUTE blog idea, and list some things that I LOVE...

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

As promised, here are the pictures from Munch's first birthday party. It was a blast, although, she was not having her party hat. She didn't really dig in too much to her cake either. Just the icing = ). It was pretty fun. I don't know where the heck I'm going to store all of her toys though, I need to invest in some major storage... Oh, and then, I thought I'd share an "artsy" pic I took = )

Winter Photo Session

I am getting lots of gruff for not updating my blog, so here I go...

We had lots of fun in MN for Christmas and New Years, and my friend Sarah Wolfe took more pics. We also got locked out in the COLD while we were doing the photo shoot, which was not super fun. Oh well, the pictures turned out great!!




We celebrated Munch's first birthday on the 13th. I can NOT believe she's one year old already. She just gets cuter and cuter every day. I haven't downloaded her birthday pics quite yet, so as soon as I do, I'll post again. I know, you'll believe it when you see it = )

At her one year appointment she was 31 in. long and 20 lbs. 3 oz. She just a little bit of a thing.

She is standing, cruising, saying mama and dada, although sometimes she calls me dada. = ) She also says uh-oh, but it sounds more like "uh-uh". Super cute.


She has become a very picky little eater and is asserting her independence more and more (aka throwing FITS when she doesn't like something-great.) We are trying the sippy cup and she mostly has gotten the hang of it, except that she doesn't know how to tip it all the way up when it gets low. Her favorite finger food now is chunks of bananas and cheerios. Yum! She will definitely SPIT out her food if she doesn't like it.

'Tis the Season

Ok, so I 've been having issues with getting my photos uploaded, which is why I haven't had an update since Halloween. SAD! Munch has had quite a few Christmas outfits... the fancy ones I'm saving for the Christmas card, but here's a few of the casual ones. I'm seriously trying to take pictures of every single one. Ha!
